Which of your songs is your favorite, and what inspired you to write it?

Hmm, there are going to be a couple of personal favorites on the new album – but on the old album, I'd say "Honeytrap." It's so calm and weird compared to a lot of the other songs I've written. I think the title and my inspiration for it is self-explanatory. ;-)

What have you learned about the music business?

One can forget about "making it". No one does. And that's fine! Let's just write some songs and make sure we do our best. Keeping our eyes on the road, and not the "prize."

What kinds of non-music skills do musicians need?

Besides violent masturbatory techniques, I'd say keeping an eye on every dumpster around town, that's a cheap way of gettin' food.

What's the best thing about being in a band?

When we are playing music as one organism, that's a really groovy feeling.

Current favorite instruments or equipment:

I'm madly in love with my current amp-pedal-guitar setup. I use a Fender Super Twin Reverb, a Tube Screamer, a TC Electronics Distortion, and a Fender Stratocaster. Mm mmm! I like it because I can trust it (knock on wood) – it's really simple and it makes one hell of a lot of noise.
