We once played a gig in Blackpool, the most popular seaside town in England despite the fact that it is probably the least pleasant thing about the whole country. We were promised a hotel suite and other nice bonuses, so we were rather looking forward to it, but various things went wrong and we ended up wandering around the nightmarish streets (garish neon lighting spilling over drunken, vomiting women; large, frightening, bald men; and actual human shit in the middle of a pedestrian street) seeking a B&B rather than the promised hotel.

We ended up being taken by someone to find beds (he wanted to get some drugs while he was at it), and ended up in a B&B with a bar in the living room. The large, scary lady running the place kept asking if we wanted a fuck when we went to get drinks. We politely declined.
After waiting a while and becoming even more drunk than we'd ever imagined possible, we went off in search of our "guide." We found him upstairs on the bed with an old, naked woman who was almost definitely a prostitute. He told us to get a cab to another B&B nearby. We did and found that there were four beds between the six of us. I made the clever move of being violently sick, thereby guaranteed myself a solo bunk.
We had to wake up three hours later to move the cars that were parked illegally. We felt violently ill and had to wait three hours for a Burger King to open. This was possibly the worst time of any of our lives. We made a vow that day that we would NEVER under any circumstances return to Blackpool.
