Chickaloon, Alaska, at a folk fest. The show was on an Indian reservation about 60 miles from Anchorage. Drove down a dirt road about four miles, parked by a river, and they hauled the PA gear up a muddy trail about a mile to this beautiful meadow nestled high in the mountains. Ran the PA off gas generators. The sound was surprisingly good. Lots of people camped out in the woods. The most far-removed show ever. Got to drink beer with Indians listening to John Prine afterward.
