Our weirdest gig was probably our first-ever show. We were playing a small venue along with five or six other local bands that spanned the spectrum of genres. A few songs into this punk band's set, the singer made a joke about a big girl in the front row. She proceeded to beat him into the ground, destroying his guitar in the process. He made a hasty retreat from the hostile crowd (dragging his wrecked axe), and was picked up in a shiny new Lexus by his mom (not exactly a punk rock way to go out). Later, during our set, our frontman broke a string and decided to rip out all the rest as well, shredding his hand in the process. It was a pretty wild start to our career.
